There are three different types of  Appointment Locks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table\"><tbody><tr><td>Partial Lock<\/td><td>Others can only adjust the clients scheduled or on the appointments waitlist. They cannot for example reschedule or delete the appointment.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Full Lock<\/td><td>Others cannot make any changes to the appointment.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Administrator Full Lock<\/td><td>Only administrators can make changes to the appointment.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<p>Others refers to anyone that is not the person that locked the \nappointment, not the owner of the calendar the appointment is on, and \nnot an administrator.  Administrators can always edit all appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is recommended that Appointment Locks be used only selectively to \naddress workflow issues and not as a general practice.  Cases such as a \nworkshop were several staff members are scheduling clients into the \nworkshop, or a staff meeting, to prevent a user from inadvertently \ndeleting it from everyone&#8217;s calendar are good candidates for an \nAppointment Lock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To set an Appointment Lock, click the padlock toolbar button in the top right corner of the appointment dialog box.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Setting an Appointment Lock will restrict what if any changes others can make to the appointment.
